Management of Services Provided by Medicines Du Monde, HIV/AIDS OPD during year 2006

Abstract

In the present, the development of information technology makes notable change to the economic development in each country. Along with this many of diseases are also spread out through the world i.e. Tuberculosis, Bird flu, and HIV/AIDS, which millions of people died and more than 40 million people was infected. Even though HIV/AIDS is a vicious disease but we can prevent and stop its spreading and also can prolonging patient’s life.

Response to the need to stop spreading out the disease and to keep prolonging life the person who has HIV/AIDS infected, each country over the world tried to find various donors to support these victims. In Cambodia, a lot of international and local NGOs have paid their attention on HIV/AIDS by providing center and free of charges service. The research on Management of Services Provided by Medicines Du Monde, HIV/AIDS OPD during year 2006 is firstly conducting interview with Director, and other staff of MDM to find out information about MDM situation. Then interview HIV/AIDS infected and patients to collect information about quality of service which is provided by MDM. This study also found that MDM is trying to improve their service in order to reach the target and benefit to patients
